Who Are
Acting Community Thingumybogs?
We are not an ordinary amateur dramatics group! We are a non-profit group of volunteers who raise money for Save the Children Fund through our productions.

Our very first pantomime (written in 1994 to celebrate Save the Children's 75th birthday) was meant to be a one-off but everyone said let's do another another one... and another one... and they've continued ever since! To date we have raised over £95,000 for the charity!

We rehearse and perform at Carterton Community College in Carterton, Oxfordshire and are incredibly grateful for their support. Without them our productions would not be possible.

We were delighted, and a little surprised, to win 'West Oxfordshire Arts Group Of The Year' in 2009 as we had never won anything before! It was particularly special as it was the first time this award was given and coincided with our 15th birthday.

We have no formal audition process, everyone is welcome! We have alot of fun performing in a Christmas pantomime each year as well as the occassional spring production and murder mystery. We are always keen to have new members so if you are interested in joining us, even helping behind the scenes, please keep an eye out for our annual enrolment evening that takes place at the end of August each year.
